Orthopaedic nurses at Plaza have the knowledge and skills appropriate to their specialty. They have passed their board examinations for certification as registered nurses (RNs). Many also obtain specialty certification as an Orthopaedic Nurse - Certified (ONC) from the National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses.
The latter credential is the primary one documenting expertise in the practice of orthopaedic nursing. Some orthopaedic nurses at Plaza also hold specialty certification as medical/surgical nurses from the American Nurses Credentialing Council.
